The Italian added a Bundesliga title to his collection in 2016-17 and will be setting his sights on further domestic and European silverware next year

Carlo Ancelotti has made a habit of collecting trophies over the years, and the Bayern Munich boss is not going to let anybody forget that.

The Italian has enjoyed a glittering coaching career to date, to complement the successful playing career he enjoyed at Parma, Roma and Milan.

Bayern rule out €100m Alexis bid

Joining the managerial elite at Juventus in 1999, Ancelotti has gone on to take in spells with Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Bayern.

He has won league titles in Italy, England, France and Spain, while claiming the Champions League crown on three occasions, but he is clearly not finished yet.

Ancelotti posted a picture of himself in front of his trophy case with a caption reading “Ready to get back to work now!”

Ancelotti also tasted domestic cup success with Milan and Chelsea, with 19 successes enjoyed in all.

The Bundesliga title was added to his collection in 2016-17, as he preserved Bayern’s dominance of the German game in his first year at the helm.

Lewandowski agent silences transfer talk

He will, however, be expected to deliver more in his second campaign, with another challenge for European glory expected.

Ancelotti is clearly ready to get going in that quest, with the 58-year-old a proven winner with a CV to make many of his coaching rivals green with envy.
