The Ondo State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, has said that his administration would soon publish telephone lines that the people could call and draw police attention to cases of child abuse.

The governor also said that the state was set to implement the Ondo State’s  Child Rights Law in order to facilitate children’s access to justice.

Akeredolu stated this on Saturday at the 2017 National Children’s Day celebration at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Arcade , Akure, the Ondo State capital .

The governor said, “Child abuse is inhuman to the children and there should be proactive measures on the part of all stakeholders to protect the children from being abused by adults.”
