A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to Friday night’s vice presidential debate between Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the VP candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi and other candidates.
DAILY POST had reported that on Friday night, five candidates contesting for the vice presidency, engaged in a debate.
Those who participated were, Yemi Osinbajo (APC) Peter Obi (PDP) Umma Getso (YPP) Alhaji Abdulganiyu Galadima (ACPN) Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya (ANN)
Their responses and opinions, which bordered on the country’s economy, education policy, corruption, and subsidy, drew mixed reactions from Nigerians.
However, reacting to the outcome of the debate, Fani-Kayode on his Twitter page, commended Peter Obi for ‘knocking out other candidates.
He also accused Prof Yemi Osinbajo of fudging and lying during the debate.
He tweeted, “I commend @PeterObi for knocking the others and doing a great job in last nights Vice Presidential debate.
“@ProfOsinbajo fudged and lied his way through the whole thing whilst the other 3 participants were nothing but an embarrassing and distasteful joke. #2019Debate.”
