2023 conduct fresh presidential election pdp lp tells inec

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party, LP, have called for the conduct of a fresh presidential election.

Both parties said a fresh presidential election should be conducted in accordance with the electoral act.

This was disclosed by the National Chairman of LP, Abure during a joint press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

They lamented the conduct of Saturday’s election, which they claimed was fraudulent.

He said: “INEC compromised even before the collation of election results from the polling units, this election is not free and far from being fair or transparent. There is ongoing cancellation of results across the country.

“We call for the conduct of a fresh election as allowed under the electoral act, the results being announced are heavily doctored,” they alleged.
