The situation took an unexpected turn during a vacation to Italy when Povich proposed once more, yet Chung remained hesitant. Eventually, a change of heart occurred. “She called me and said, ‘We can get married.’ I said, ‘Really?’ She said, ‘Yes, because I found a dress,'” Povich revealed, emphasizing the unusual nature of the agreement. Chung later admitted that the stipulation was “embarrassing” but marked a turning point in their relationship.

It’s very sad, but you can bet we’ll make up for it over the weekend.” Their weekends were often dedicated to creating one of their favorite meals: a home-cooked steak and french fries. Povich elaborated on their culinary adventures, saying, “We get the good stuff — center-cut tenderloin — and cut it into long slices.” He humorously added, “Connie in her inimitable ways will only eat Wonder Bread.
