In a significant victory against drug trafficking, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Tincan Special Area Command, has announced the interception of a substantial 876.453 kilograms of various illicit drugs and controlled substances in 2023. The intercepted drugs include 24kg of cocaine, 852.45kg of cannabis, and 0.003kg of Tramadol, amounting to a total of 876.453kg. Abubakar further disclosed that a total of 15 individuals were apprehended and prosecuted during this period, with 10 of them being convicted.
