Let me also thank my wife and family members who have stood with me through the entire process, even at the expense of their personal liberties and comfort. I am forever indebted to them.
If I am presented with an opportunity to choose a family all over, I will still select these same family members all over.

In a statement he personally signed, Ayogu extended a hand of fellowship to Gov. Ugwuanyi.
DAILY POST further gathered that earlier in a phone call Friday afternoon, Ayogu told Governor Ugwuanyi that now that he (Ayogu) has exhausted the judicial process he was extending his hand of fellowship to Governor Ugwuanyi as he settles down to the remaining part of his tenure.

I will urge my supporters to extend the same support they had extended to me to the man that God has confirmed as the choice of the people.

Having satisfied myself that I have exhausted all legal avenues open to me, I hereby extend my hand of fellowship to Governor Ugwuanyi as he settles down to the remaining part of his tenure.

Senator Ayogu Eze Friday congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi over his Supreme Court victory on the prolonged legal tussle for the Enugu State guber position.

Rt. Hon. Ugwuanyi has been a brother and a friend for many years, and I believe it will not be difficult to join hands with him to develop our state.

It is my prayer that the conclusion of this matter will lead to the unfolding of more development programmes that will directly touch the lives of our people.

” I wish to use this opportunity to congratulate my brother, His Excellency, the Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on his victory at the Supreme Court in the protracted governorship primary election petition.

At this point, let me thank my teeming supporters for their undying love through the course of this electoral battle. I will never be able to repay your kindness and steadfastness.

It has been a contest that has taken the better part of four years.

BELOW IS THE FULL STATEMENT SIGNED BY SENATOR AYOGU EZE.

I will in due course unfold my next line of action politically. When the time comes, I will return to you with my decision on our direction, and I pray that when that time comes, you will still extend the same love to me and members of my family.”.

DAILY POST reports that the Supreme Court had dismissed Ayogu’s suit seeking to sack Ugwuanyi.

Power comes from God and I therefore hereby pray the same God to continue to give the Governor the wisdom and equanimity of mind to govern Enugu State with love and evenhandedness.

You are the heroes of the struggle and I shall ever be grateful to you for your sacrifice, doggedness and faith.

I know that in the course of this challenge, you must have endured some personal discomfort, occasioned by my shortcomings and personality deficits. Please, thank you immensely for bearing with me.
