In a shocking revelation, popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has opened up about the relentless bullying and insults he has endured for over a year. Surprisingly, the same people who are now mourning the late singer Mohbad are the ones responsible for tormenting Yul.

Yul Edochie took to his official Instagram page on Monday to express his frustration and call out his colleagues in the industry. He referred to them as “hypocrites and clout chasers” for demanding justice for Mohbad while simultaneously subjecting him to relentless bullying.

The actor’s decision to take a second wife has been met with severe criticism and disdain from both his colleagues and Nigerians in general. Yul drew a parallel between the bullying Mohbad faced before his untimely death and the treatment he is currently enduring.

Yul Edochie did not hold back in his scathing attack on his colleagues, stating, “All of you posting Justice for Mohbad, including the Nollywood people, you are not different from the people that were maltreating Mohbad. You are all demons and wicked people, simply chasing clout.”

He further accused them of using Mohbad’s death to gain traffic and attention on their social media pages. Yul expressed his disappointment in their lack of support and questioned their motives, asking, “How many of you fought for Mohbad when he was alive?”

Yul Edochie’s decision to take a second wife has been met with intense scrutiny and judgment. However, the actor emphasized that his personal life choices should not be anyone else’s concern. He criticized his colleagues for their lack of empathy and understanding, stating, “None of you know what I’m going through in my home, that inspired my decision.”

The actor also highlighted the gender bias in society, pointing out that men often suffer in silence without receiving the same support and empathy as women. Yul questioned why there was a lack of solidarity from his fellow Nollywood actors, asking, “How many Nollywood people come out to say ‘Enough’?”

Yul Edochie’s heartfelt message shed light on the hypocrisy and double standards prevalent in the entertainment industry. He urged his colleagues to reflect on their actions and consider the impact of their words before joining the bandwagon of online bullying.

It is worth noting that Yul Edochie has been facing backlash ever since he announced actress Judy Austin as his second wife in April 2022. The news sparked controversy and fueled the fire of criticism directed towards him.
