Buhari, Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, has recovered from the deadly COVID-19 after testing negative for the virus.
The minister announced in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
Tallen, while advising Nigerians to comply with COVID-19 guidelines to be safe, thanked Nigerian women and the entire nation for their prayers.
She expressed commitment towards promoting the speedy and healthy development of Nigerian women for national development and promoting the rights of the vulnerable in society.
The minister prayed for a prosperous year full of exploits in innovations that would set the nation on a positive course and growth.
Meanwhile, as of Jan. 3, Nigerian has recorded 90,080 confirmed cases of the disease with 75,044 discharged and 1,311 deaths.
