In a recent turn of events, the music industry has been rocked by a war of words between former label mates, Kcee and Harrysong. The co-founder of Five Star Music, Kcee, has come out to publicly lambast Harrysong for his claims of writing most of Kcee’s hit songs while he was still signed to the label.

Harrysong has been vocal about his grievances with Kcee and his brother and business partner, E-Money, alleging that they have been withholding his musical rights. He has also boldly stated that he was the mastermind behind many of Kcee’s popular tracks.

However, Kcee has fired back at these allegations in a recent episode of the Afrobeats podcast. He revealed that during the time when he won the Star Quest talent show with his former partner, Presh, and subsequently got signed to Kennis Music, Harrysong was still in the village with his grandmother. Kcee also pointed out that they went on to release three albums under Kennis Music, raising the question of whether Harrysong had any involvement in writing those songs.

Furthermore, Kcee emphasized that it has been eight years since Harrysong departed from Five Star Music, yet he continues to produce hit songs without the label’s involvement. Kcee’s stance on the matter is that Harrysong may be in need of prayers, as he is not only at odds with the label but also facing personal conflicts with his wife and former manager, Soso.

“When I won Star Quest, Harrysong was in the village with his grandmother. I did three albums with Kennis Music, did Harrysong write those? Harrysong has a problem, we need to pray for him. Jokes apart, we need to pray for him,” Kcee stated.

This public feud between Kcee and Harrysong has sent shockwaves through the music industry, with fans and industry insiders alike taking sides and speculating on the true origins of Kcee’s hit songs. The drama has also reignited discussions on the complexities of artist-label relationships and the issue of songwriting credits within the industry.

As the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen whether Harrysong will respond to Kcee’s remarks and how this ongoing dispute will impact both artists’ careers moving forward. One thing is for certain: the music industry is no stranger to drama, and this latest clash between Kcee and Harrysong is just the latest chapter in a long history of feuds and controversies.
