Mauricio Pochettino has signed a three-year contract to become Chelsea’s manager next season, the Daily Mail reports.

The former Tottenham boss had reached a verbal agreement weeks ago to take over from Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge.

But Pochettino has only just put pen to paper to make it official.

It’s believed he has signed a three-year deal after flying to England from Spain to complete the formalities for his new job.

The 51-year-old has been out of work since Paris Saint-Germain dismissed him at the end of last season.

It is understood Pochettino will seek talks with Lampard before he formally takes on the role at the end of the season.
