EPL: Fernandes makes demand from Man Utd players after win over Liverpool

Manchester United star, Bruno Fernandes, has urged his teammates to maintain and develop the incredible fighting spirit that underpinned Monday’s Premier League 2-1 win over Liverpool on Monday night.

Man United produced a courageous performance against Liverpool at Old Trafford to earn their first Premier League win this season.

Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford scored the goals for Erik ten Hag’s side as Mohamed Salah’s goal was not enough for the Reds.

“Obviously, it is a great night and a great result, something we expect from Manchester United,” Fernandes told Man United’s official website.

“To get these three points is massive for us, but now this game is done. We’ve to look forward and carry on this attitude, this passion and this character that we showed tonight into the next games.”
