In a recent interview with Arise TV, the talented producer debunked the rumors surrounding Bobrisky’s award and clarified that it was merely a promotional strategy. Despite her explanations, social media platforms have been abuzz with criticisms and backlash directed at Ajao.

In a bid to set the record straight, Ajao took to her Instagram page to release a heartfelt video message, urging Nigerians to rally behind her by patronizing her movie at the cinemas. She emphasized that her financial stability is at stake, and a potential cancellation of the movie premiere due to the Bobrisky saga could spell financial ruin for her.

“Tell everybody to go out for me, don’t let me be in debt, I don’t have anything. All I had was what I put into this project. Please support me in the name of God, I don’t come out to do clout or stunt. It’s because of this film, I was thinking of how I will sell the film, so I used Bobrisky. I don’t want to dwell too much on that, I plead with Nigerians in the name of God, help me go out. This is a film that the whole industry came out to watch and they gave good reviews. It’s a film that I can be boastful about and walk with my heads up,” Ajao passionately appealed.

The talented actress further emphasized the quality of her movie, ‘Ajakaju,’ highlighting the positive reviews it has garnered from industry insiders and critics. She expressed pride in her work and implored movie enthusiasts to give her film a chance despite the ongoing controversy.
