Buhari PDP condoles with President over loss of relatives

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari and his family on the death of two his closed relatives,

The party in a statement in Abuja, said that the deceased, Hajiya Halima Dauda and Hajiya Aisha Mamman, were said to have died in quick succession.

In the statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, it said “the PDP family is saddened by the very sad loss,” adding that the party’s prayers and thoughts were with the first family.

“The loss of a loved one at any point is always a painful experience and the PDP shares in your pain.

“We join millions of other Nigerians in lifting President Buhari and his family in supplications, fervently praying the Almighty God in His mercies console them and give them the fortitude to bear the loss.”
