The Bible Society of Nigeria has donated Bibles worth N17,178, 505 to Nigerians as part of its effort to enhance the spiritual development of the people.

This was contained in a statement signed by the BSN’s Deputy Manager, Media and Programmes, Mr. Benjamin Mordi, on Sunday.

Mordi stated that the gesture was in line with its mission to help the people to interact with the word of God.

The beneficiaries of the gesture, he stated, included prisoners, Christian fellowship groups and organisations, schools for the blind and individual members of the public.

According to Mordi, the BSN has completed the distribution of Braille Bible to schools of people with disability.

According to the statement, a complete set of Braille bibles which comes in 37 volumes cost N44,000 and the organisation has been able to achieve this with funds donated by members of Bible-A-Month Club, special members, corporate organisations, churches and individual donors.
