In a startling revelation, the renowned singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has raised alarm bells, alleging that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is gearing up to apprehend him on charges of Naira abuse. Currently situated abroad, Portable expressed fear that the anti-graft agency is poised to detain him upon his return to Nigeria.

The ‘Zazu’ hitmaker, who recently appealed to the EFCC to pardon him if there exists any substantial evidence of Naira misuse, disclosed that he now finds himself in the crosshairs following a call-out by self-proclaimed social media influencer, VeryDarkMan, urging the agency to take action against Portable for purportedly mishandling the Nigerian currency.

During a candid Instagram live interaction with his followers, Portable voiced his apprehensions, stating, “I am feeling anxious. The EFCC seems to have plans to apprehend me once I set foot back in Nigeria, all because VeryDarkMan implicated me.”

Directing his ire towards VeryDarkMan, Portable continued, “VeryDarkMan, or should I say VeryDarkBrain, you chatter excessively. Save your words for those with meaningful contributions. Are you a law enforcer? Your viewpoints on public issues should be reserved for those within the law enforcement sector. Remember, it was the Nigerian populace who rallied for your release when you faced arrest. Upon your release, you appeared emaciated; your once bulging muscles had vanished.”

Challenging VeryDarkMan’s credibility, Portable remarked, “And now you strut around boasting. Leave the discourse to those with sound judgment. You dabble in discussions about women, politics, and everything under the sun. But what exactly is your occupation? Just empty rhetoric.”

The unfolding saga between Portable and the EFCC, coupled with the involvement of social media provocateurs, has ignited a storm of speculation and intrigue within the Nigerian entertainment scene. As the narrative unfolds, the public awaits further developments in this high-profile saga.
