Welcome to our live and interactive coverage of the 2017 Formula One season.

Today the action is coming to us from the Red Bull Ring where the drivers will battle it out for pole for the Austrian Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton looked in superb form topping the timesheets in FP1 and FP2 but five-place grid penalty for an unscheduled gearbox change ended his hunt for pole before it really even began.

That opens the door for Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel, who was quickest in FP3, to put their car at the front of the pack.

Red Bull will be hoping to spring a surprise or two on their home turf and while pole might be unlikely, getting in and amongst the Mercs and Ferraris on the grid will set them up nicely for a run at the podium tomorrow.

Whichever way it goes, the qualifying session will be jam-packed with excitement.

To ensure that you don’t miss a second of the action, we’re bringing this qualifying session to you on various platforms. Besides this blog, you can follow the action live on TV or via the web on our live streaming channel.
