Lobi Stars chief coach, Tara Akombo, has expressed confidence in his team’s chances of picking a continental ticket this season.

The Pride of Benue currently top Group B and are looking good to win a second NPFL title.

Akombo, however, stated that the club’s main objective is to secure a place on the continent at the end of the season.

Lobi Stars recently claimed the Benue State Federation Cup title.

“No trophy is small, what this team achieves will boast our confidence for greater challenges ahead when the league resumes,” Akombo told the club’s media.

Lobi Stars are the only team that have won all their home games this season.
