I recently answered a friend’s question on “What is Legendary Marketer?” And it got me thinking. Since so many people are wondering what this Legendary Marketer system is all about, I figured I’d write a quick post to educate you guys on the meaning and things to understand about the legendary marketer.

You see, the legendary marketer is a company founded by none other than David Sharpe. Sharpe was the co-founder of Empower Network, a company that did over $170 million in sales. Pretty mind-blowing, right? At such a young age, Sharpe was a multi-millionaire many times over.
But it wasn’t all roses for him. Before starting up Legendary Marketer, and way before Empower Network was ever a glimmer in his eye, he struggled in life. But he was tired of struggling. Living paycheck to paycheck wasn’t what he had in mind for the rest of his life.
Somehow, one way or another, he found his way into the world of online marketing. In fact, if you ask Sharpe what Legendary Marketer is today, he’ll tell you it has its roots in those early days. It was a hard knock education. He had to learn everything there was about marketing online.

Legendary Marketer is one of the most popular online marketing training brands out there because it’s one of the only websites that offer comprehensive, entry-level training for as little as $1.99.
The Insider’s Guide to Affiliate Marketing is one of the best entry-level affiliate books I’ve ever read, and it costs less than $2. Of course, the high-level training programs cost tons of money. But if you actually reach that level, you probably won’t care about the price.
Is Legendary Marketer a Scam?
No, Legendary Marketer is not a scam. I’ve been through most of the products (besides one-on-one coaching), and they are full of great info that will help you build a business.
David offers training materials, coaching, and live events to HELP YOU build a business, as well as an affiliate program to help skilled marketers earn money for referrals. You have to put in the work, or you’ll get nothing.

He does not promise this will make you rich or earn you anything overnight. To me, a scam is a deceptive business that promises you the moon in an attempt to cheat you out of your money.
Legendary Marketer is NOT that. David promises comprehensive, cutting-edge training and a fair referral program. And for the most part, he delivers. I’ll be 100% honest. I’m not a fan of some branding elements like the “15-day business builder challenge” or the “live your dreams” vibe. But that’s far from a scam. It’s just my personal preference.
Who Is Legendary Marketer For?
Legendary Marketer is mostly for complete beginners, lower-intermediate, and intermediate marketers who want to learn the core concepts behind all successful internet businesses so they can grow their own.
That’s actually one of the things I like most about it. Instead of just teaching you how to build one type of business, you learn the core concepts behind every successful business, so you can take any path you want with confidence. Moreover, once you learn the core concepts, you’re free to branch out into any industry you want.
For example, once you do the 15-Day Business Builder Challenge, you’ll have the base of knowledge behind every successful affiliate site, eCom brand, or even YouTube channel. Just choose the one that stands out to you and start learning more about it.
Overall, I don’t think any of the training sections are elite. It’s more that they’re easy to digest and direct. Plus, you get a one-on-one advisor and regular assessment to make sure you’re learning (great for people like me…).
Pros and Cons
Let us start with the good:
I’ll admit I was wrong about David and Legendary Marketer. However, after going through the training, it’s definitely 100% legit. It’s not my favorite material out there, and I’m not a big fan of the “lifestyle business” vibes, but there’s a lot to like.

Entry-level training is cheap.
Most free eBooks, courses, or videos teach you absolutely nothing. They only exist to get your email so that the company can bother you with upsells.
Legendary Marketer’s entry-level products are full of good info, especially the Insider’s Guide to Affiliate Marketing. I went in thinking it’d be just another fluffy eBook, but I actually found myself nodding along like, “Hey, that’s a good point!”

Obviously, they’re going to advertise other products to you once you sign up, but all of them are high-value, so why not take a look?
2. The training is a very simple
and an easy, step-by-step process, which is very convenient for beginners in online marketing and to the expert affiliate marketers who want to bring their business to the next level. There are tons of values in every training material. Legendary Marketer’s training is comprehensive enough to help network marketers drive traffic and increase their leads.
3. The support team is very responsive
and there are daily wake-up calls to the group to give motivation, answer questions, give tips on how to market your business, provide advice on how to engage with clients professionally, and all the updates from the legendary marketer. And you also have a personal coach assigned to you who can help you when you have questions guide you in getting the upsell products.
4. The affiliate program is great
Legendary Marketer’s affiliate program is one of the best in the business for a few key reasons.
Entry-Level Products: There are many great entry-level products, so new users are more likely to sign up. This gives you more “bites at the apple” to earn a commission. For example, say someone signs up for the $1.99 eBook but then buy a higher-ticket item. You get a commission on that too.
Access to Funnels: You get access to custom funnels for different products like the Copywriter’s Playbook, Business Challenge Black, and 15 Second Free Leads. They share funnels created in ClickFunnels, so you can integrate them into your ClickFunnels and even customize them.
NOTE: The backend is also really detailed and walks you step-by-step through how everything works, so you can better promote the products and earn more commissions. That’s a nice touch in an industry full of disinterested sellers who expect their affiliates to “figure it out.”
5. Integrity, Honesty, and transparency
are always encouraged by Dave Sharpe to become successful in your business. This is what I like most about this company.
6. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee.
This is only for subscription-based products like the Legendary Marketers Club and Legendary Pro Affiliate. You can cancel the billing and request a refund within 30 days. Afterward, there is no refund for monthly automated billing. At least you can try the online digital training and resources risk-free for the first month.
Here are my least favorite things:

Upgrading for higher commissions
I’ve never seen anything like this before. This could be where a lot of the “MLM” talks come from. It’s definitely NOT, but it does feel that way at first.
To unlock higher commission rates, you’ve got to be a Pro member. The two plans are like this:
Basic: Basic is free, and you get a 10-30% commission depending on many factors.
Pro: 30-60% commissions, but it costs $29.95 per month.
Here’s my take. Most commissions for digital courses/training range from 30-50%.
If you’re getting a lot of traffic, this membership is a win-win for both sides.
This type of system also drastically improves the quality of affiliates. On the other hand, a free affiliate program dilutes the pool. It reduces the quality of each review/promotion, which could hurt David’s reputation—something he’s cautious with these days.

So, I wouldn’t say I like it… but I get it.
It is hard for some new members to get high ticket upsells because of the high price. However, I would say it’s worth your money because the training is precious and practical skills that will pay you dividends for years to come.

The blocked countries list is restrictive.
The list of blocked countries is pretty long.
If you’re an affiliate, this could get pretty frustrating. For example, say someone in one of the countries clicks any of your links, goes to signup, then realizes they can’t. That could hurt your sales and reputation.
Overall, the pros definitely outweigh the cons here, especially if you’re more into the brand’s vibe.
Is Legendary Marketer Worth the Price?
After going through David’s products, I was really skeptical at first, but most of his training material is top-notch.
Overall, I’d say yes, Legendary Marketer is worth the price. But there are some caveats.
The low-ticket stuff is 100% worth the price. The eBook, Copywriter’s Playbook, and Business Builder Challenge are stupidly cheap and full of many hacks that will empower you to make a living online.
The Legendary Marketer’s Club is also 100% worth the monthly subscription. Hell, the weekly webinar alone might be worth it, let alone the video series. Do they charge $30 a month for instant access to the minds of seven and eight-figure business minds? Yes, please.
The only one I’m a bit iffy on is the Affiliate Marketing Business Blueprint. Please take advantage of the live events, but there are cheaper courses if you don’t plan on going. However, the Digital Products Business Blueprint is super high-value and definitely the next income stream I’m going to tackle.
So, all in all, YES, Legendary Marketer is worth the price.
