Zambia U-20 men’s head coach, Chisi Mbewe has named a 23-man squad for his side’s friendly against the Flying Eagles of Nigeria.

The friendly will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday.

The Cosafa champions, according to information on the official website of the Zambia Football Federation departed for Abuja on Wednesday afternoon.

The Young Shipolopolo will move to Dakar after the game against the Flying Eagles.

Mbewe’s side will engage the Junior Terangha Lions of Senegal in another friendly on February 7.

After the West African assignment, the Zambians will head to Egypt where they will set up base before the commencement of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations which will start on February 19.

Zambia will face Tunisia, Benin and Gambia in Group C.
