Readers often ask about legitimate paid taking surveys sites. Well, the truth is, we’re just not that into them.
We get bored clicking off answers, and oftentimes the payout isn’t commensurate with the amount of time we spend on these sites and the amount of personal information we’re sharing.
But you’re right. There’s a certain appeal to filling out surveys with the TV flashing in the background or with your favorite podcast hosts chatting into the air next to you. Plus, you don’t have to leave the couch as you answer questions about yourself.
It’s not too difficult.
If you want to take the dive, here’s are our recommendation: Sign up for these legitimate survey sites all at once. Chances are, you’ll qualify for at least one or two surveys on each site a month.
1. Ipsos i-Say
You might recognize the Ipsos Panel name because it’s the same company that does most of the political polling during elections. It also has a survey app called i-Say that pays you for your opinions.
Some of the top-end surveys can pay up to $95, but those are rare and can take a while to complete.
Most surveys pay a buck or two and only take 10 to 15 minutes. Also, i-Say rewards you with points you can redeem for cash via PayPal or gift cards to Amazon, iTunes and others. (For example, you can redeem 1,000 points for a $10 PayPal deposit).
2. VIP Voice
VIP Voice surveys are relatively quick to complete and reward you with points you can redeem for cash or gift cards.
Sign up for this at the beginning of the month and plan to login a few times each week. You’ll have no trouble earning an extra $30 this month with almost no work.
3. InboxDollars
We’ve written about Inbox Dollars before, because our founder made some easy money signing up for trial offers on the site. But it also offers several short daily surveys you can take.If you take all of them each day, you could earn an extra $730 a year. Not too bad.

4. Swagbucks
Swagbucks is definitely a reader favorite, probably because of the wide variety of ways to make money beyond taking surveys. It’s also famous for handing out free rewards points (they’re called SBs) at random just for being a member.
Plus, you get $5 just for signing up and taking your first survey.
You’ll get SBs for each survey you qualify for and complete that you can redeem for cash via PayPal or gift cards to a number of popular retailers, including Amazon.

7. PointClub
PointClub is awesome because you’ll get points for every single survey you take — guaranteed. Plus, the company gives you $5 just for signing up! Once you accrue enough of them, you can redeem those points for gift cards to a ton of useful vendors, such as Walmart, Amazon and PayPal.
8. Harris Poll
A lot of packaged food companies will pay you for your thoughts. They’re hungry for data on what shoppers think of their products, so they pay folks like you to join panels and answer questions.
Sign up for an online market research site like Harris Poll to participate.
Most surveys pay between $3 and $4 each for 20 minutes of your time. Heck, you can even fill them out while you watch TV — nice way to earn money in your down time!
Larger panels are hosted locally. These usually require two to four hours of your time — and you don’t get to watch Netflix while you’re at it — but they pay up to $75.
To get started, you can sign up for Harris Poll here.
9. eMiles
If you love to travel or have been craving a weekend getaway, you might want to join this survey site of more than 3 million members. It’s called eMiles, and you get rewarded in points for hotels and flights for doing simple tasks — taking surveys, watching ads and claiming deals. The site claims consumers can save $20 to $30 on their next trip by spending an hour on the site.
You can redeem these points for flights with major airlines like American Airlines, United or Southwest. If you’re not much of a traveler, you can also use them at Amazon or Starbucks.
Signing up takes approximately 10 seconds. You’ll just need your email address and to be a U.S. resident. Plus, for a limited time, you can snag bonus points, too.
10. Pinecone Research
Right now, Pinecone Research is looking for people to qualify for several surveys.
Pinecone has a decent amount of surveys to offer, but what’s unique about this company is that you get paid cash via PayPal after every survey you take. And there’s no minimum amount you need to earn before you cash out.
The surveys pay $3 for each one completed. Many of them only require a few minutes to complete.
