If you’re a true fan, you know that the iconic rock band recorded some of their best tracks at Abbey Road Studios, but they’re probably most well-known for their killer song “Silver Machine.” Mick and Dave, another founder, played together in a band called Famous Cure before they decided to team up and change the rock scene forever with Hawkwind in 1969.

If you’re feeling nostalgic, Dave shared some fond memories of their younger days, including chilling at the L’Auberge Cafe and Eel Pie Island in Richmond.
