Anthony Joshua’s world heavyweight unification bout against Joseph Parker is expected to sell out, with 70,000 tickets sold already.

Only a limited number of tickets are still available for the fight at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, which is live on Sky Sports Box Office on March 31, when Joshua puts his IBF and WBA ‘super’ titles on the line against WBO champion Parker.

“I like to fight, that’s the main objective, and it’s showing I’m never shy of a competition,” said Joshua, who boasts a perfect record of 20 knockouts from 20 professional fights.

“He’s a respectable competitor; he is the WBO heavyweight champion of the world, so it’s like one step closer to adding a strap to my legacy. That’s what makes it exciting.”

Parker, though, is adamant he will capture Joshua’s two world titles and extend his unbeaten professional record to 25 fights in the process.

“Anthony Joshua is in for a huge shock,” Parker said. “A couple of months ago I heard him say: ‘why should I be worried about this little kid from New Zealand’?

“Well, now he’s about to find out. The world is about to find out whether AJ can really take a punch. My entire existence is now devoted to proving what the boxing world already knows.”

Additional tickets for the hotly-anticipated contest will be released on Monday, January 29.

Watch the Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker world heavyweight title unification fight, from the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, on March 31, live and exclusive on Sky Sports Box Office.
