Arsenal F.C. and Liverpool F.C. have both secured their places in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup following impressive victories in their fifth-round matches.
Arsenal booked their spot in the last eight with a hard-fought 2–1 win over Mansfield Town F.C. on Saturday. The victory keeps manager Mikel Arteta’s side firmly in contention for multiple trophies this season.
The Gunners opened the scoring through Noni Madueke, whose crisp strike flew into the top corner to give Arsenal an early advantage.
However, Mansfield Town responded after Will Evans capitalized on a defensive mistake to level the match at 1–1.

Arsenal eventually sealed the victory when substitute Eberechi Eze came off the bench to score the decisive goal, sending the North London club into the quarter-finals.
On Friday night, Liverpool also progressed with a 3–1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. at Molineux Stadium.
The result served as revenge for Liverpool, who had been beaten by Wolves just days earlier at the same venue.
Meanwhile, other fifth-round fixtures will see Manchester City F.C. travel to face Newcastle United F.C., while Chelsea F.C. will play away against Wrexham A.F.C.
