The global streaming platform unveiled the milestone as part of activities marking its fifth anniversary in Nigeria, releasing a list of the top five most-streamed artists in the country’s history.

Asake secured the number one spot, further cementing his dominance in Nigeria’s digital music space. He was followed by:
- Wizkid
- Seyi Vibez
- Burna Boy

Asake also dominated the songs category, with his track “Remember” claiming the number one position among the most-streamed songs of all time on Spotify Nigeria.
